钢轨和轨枕之间轨下铁垫板是轨道结构中的重要部件之一,在轮轨动力系统中起着重要的减振作用。随着重载铁路运输的发展,轴重日益增加,在钢轨逐渐 重型化的同时,对垫板的性能提出了更高要求,求垫板的减振性能好、耐冲击、使用寿命长。
随着列车的提速,对轨道线路稳定性要求也逐渐提高,铁路轨道垫板也经历了四次改进。最初使用钢板组焊垫板,由于组焊垫板存在焊缝而整体性不高,并且焊缝的存在使得垫板的力学性能减弱。型钢垫板则由于具有良好的整体性而且较高的力学性能,最终取代了组焊垫板。但由于垫板较长,型钢垫板的变形较大、腐蚀严重,而且型钢件也存在生产上满足不了目前轨道垫板结构形式需要的缺点。人们逐渐又将目前投向了变形性小、成本低的可锻铸铁垫板。由于可锻铸铁的生产是将白口铸铁进行可锻化退火得到的,相比于铸态下直接获得铸件的生产工艺,这种生产方式延长了生产周期、增大了生产成本。球墨铸铁自问世以来凭其优良的力学性能及良好的铸造性能而备受关注,而铸态下可以使用的铁球墨铸铁垫板更是取代可锻铸铁垫板的佳选择。铁素体球墨铸铁由于具有较强的抗震动和抗冲击能力而被应用于制造轨道配件,如地铁线路配件铁垫板、快速轨道垫板、型预埋铁座、客运专线轨道铁垫板等。我厂为适应目前铁路生产的需要,进行了球墨铸铁的生产开发。根据文献介绍以及对生产过程进行研究,我们最终采用二次孕育并控制终硅量的方法,生产了可在铸态下使用的铁素体球墨铸铁。
